Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is the sequel to the online battle royale shooter that has undergone significant changes compared to the first installment. A lot of work has been put into the game, and it's up to the players to assess the complexity of the new mechanics and their overhaul.
Story
Since the game is a session-based battle royale shooter, it doesn't have a traditional storyline. The main action takes place on the Al-Mazra map, which consists of locations from Modern Warfare II and other parts of Call of Duty. All story events will directly reference the Modern Warfare II campaign, and the player's task is simply to be the last one standing.

Gameplay
The core gameplay remains unchanged, with players still engaging in battles with enemies, but now the focus is on obtaining high-quality equipment. Unlike the first installment, players will have to find equipment on the map, as their character will start with nothing. The game has borrowed a lot from the "battle royale" mode of Black Ops 4.
The best loot will be found in the most dangerous areas, where players will not only face human opponents but also NPC squads. Furthermore, these locations will be filled with traps, so players should be extremely cautious when going after valuable loot.
The "Gulag" second chance system has been modified and received new mechanics. There are several ways to return to the game. The first way is the classic battle in the arena, but now players will fight alongside a random teammate instead of alone. In the second case, players can try their luck in an escape by killing a guard and stealing the prison key.
Map, Vehicles, and Gameplay Mechanics
The game will feature multiple maps, each with its own unique characteristics, but initially, only one map is planned, which will be the largest in the series. Different types of terrain will push for more diverse gameplay. Classic gameplay can be pursued in many open spaces. Areas with denser urban development will encourage tactical gameplay, while areas with elevation changes will be ideal for sniping.
A new addition will be the presence of "computer bots" guarding special locations on the map called citadels. In terms of stats, they will be inferior to real players but will work together more smoothly and provide a challenge for solo players. So it's best not to venture into a citadel without team support.
In addition to ground and aerial vehicles from the first game, various boats have been added for comfortable traversal of water obstacles. In addition to this, advanced swimming mechanics have been introduced, and ballistic interactions in water will have significant differences.
A new mode called DMZ, inspired by "Escape from Tarkov," has been introduced. In this mode, players must find valuable supplies on the map and successfully evacuate, but there is no base management involved. Both players and AI opponents will be present in the mode. The similarities end there, but the mode is still innovative for the series.
A classic third-person mode, popular in other battle royale games, will also be introduced. This will be a separate mode, and switching from first-person to third-person view is not provided, as it may give some players an advantage by using different perspectives.
Weapon customization and ballistic mechanics have also been changed, and shooting has become more realistic. Stealth mechanics have been added, and equipping a suppressor adds more depth, as it will make it harder for players to be detected.
The battle pass has been reworked, and now players can receive useful rewards right from the start by choosing from several available options, not only after reaching level 60. Completing all sectors of the battle pass will provide a special reward for players.
It will not be possible to transfer progress from the first installment, so players will have to start from scratch. To have more available operators from the start, it is necessary to have a purchased copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

The minimum system requirements will allow you to venture into the Republic of Adal and engage in intense shootouts with enemies, but a weak system will not be able to fully unlock the game's potential.
