How to Order a CONCEPT PC: From Initial Idea to Bespoke Build

HYPERPC CONCEPT — from initial idea to bespoke build

Ordering a custom CONCEPT PC is entirely different from choosing a ready-made computer from a catalogue. It means commissioning a bespoke PC in which every detail is tailored to the client’s workloads and personal style. Every CONCEPT is built by hand in the HYPERPC studio, from the first sketch through final assembly and custom liquid cooling. This article explains the complete commissioning process, including how a CONCEPT PC order works, each design and build stage, the expected timeline, and how to begin creating your own bespoke PC.

Step 1. Idea and goals

Everything starts with an idea. You know how the computer will be used, where it will be placed, and what it needs to accomplish. Our role is to turn those requirements into a coherent engineering and design brief.

Intended use. A gaming system requires a different approach from a workstation for 8K video editing, rendering, or AI workloads. A premium gift or promotional giveaway has different priorities again. The intended use determines the hardware, cooling, design, and budget.

Design preferences. You may already have a clear picture: color, theme, favorite game, brand identity. Or an abstract request — “I want something beautiful and powerful.” Either way, we help shape the vision.

Budget and timeline. CONCEPT is a custom quote. We discuss the budget for components, custom cooling, artistic work, and production. We also confirm when the project needs to be ready.

Step 2. Consultation and concept approval

Consultation and concept approval for HYPERPC CONCEPT

Once the idea is defined, you begin working with a HYPERPC specialist who turns your preferences into a technically viable concept.

Design and hardware as one system. You cannot pick a beautiful case and then force a powerful GPU and radiators into it. Exterior styling and internal hardware are developed together.

Expert guidance. If you are considering several ideas, we show you relevant completed projects and propose practical options. We explain what can be achieved within the chosen budget and which features require additional time.

The brief is locked in. We record every agreement: case color, tubing type, coolant color, radiator count, GPU and CPU models, and memory capacity.

Step 3. Design concept and sketches

This is the most creative stage. Artists, designers, and engineers develop a detailed vision for the finished computer.

Exterior design and modding: case sketches, colour, airbrushing, and lighting

CONCEPT case sketches, airbrushing, and modding

The artist creates several case sketches. Color schemes, logo placement, lighting zones, and decorative elements are refined.

Color and texture selection. Solid automotive paint, a complex gradient, matte or gloss finish. We use professional paints and clear coats that resist fading.

Airbrushing and vinyl graphics. For one-of-a-kind artwork, the artist prepares a concept sketch featuring a portrait, game scene, brand pattern, or abstract composition. You approve the design before production begins.

Lighting design. Illumination is planned across the water blocks, fans, cables, and exterior panels, with colours and lighting effects selected to complement the overall concept.

3D elements. For dimensional parts (figures, logos, panels), 3D models are created. They are printed on high-precision printers from heat-resistant engineering polymers (PETG, ABS) that can withstand heat from powerful GPUs, then prepared for painting or gilding.

Hardware configuration: components matched to the workloads and case format

CONCEPT hardware configuration and component assembly

Engineers select the component configuration. CONCEPT uses premium-tier parts only.

For gaming and streaming: flagship CPUs (AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D or Ryzen 7 9800X3D), top-tier GPUs (GeForce RTX 5090 32 GB), fast DDR5, and high-speed SSDs (Samsung 9100 PRO Gen5).

For professional work: multi-core CPUs, large memory capacities (96–128 GB), and spacious storage for projects.

Custom loop compatibility. We verify that the GPU, CPU, and motherboard are compatible with full-cover water blocks (Full Cover).

At the end of this stage: you receive an approved exterior design and a complete component list with a confirmed budget.

Step 4. Production and custom cooling

This is where the project takes physical form and hands-on work begins in the HYPERPC studio.

Case preparation. For paint or airbrushing, the case is disassembled, sanded, primed, painted, and clear-coated. From several days to two weeks, depending on complexity.

Custom liquid cooling. The loop is assembled by hand. Water blocks are fitted to the CPU and GPU, radiators are mounted, and rigid acrylic or metal tubing is routed through the case. Every bend is formed with a heat gun to match the internal layout precisely.

Component installation. The motherboard, CPU, memory, GPU, storage, and power supply are installed, followed by custom cable routing tailored to the build.

Modding and décor. 3D elements, decorative panels, and figures are installed. Final touches are applied: engraving, vinyl, lighting.

Step 5. Testing and quality control

HYPERPC CONCEPT testing and quality control

Before handover, every CONCEPT goes through strict quality control.

Loop leak testing (pressure test). Compressed air is introduced into the fully assembled dry loop under pressure, and results are monitored on a gauge. If pressure holds steady, the loop is filled with coolant.

Stress tests. AIDA64, FurMark, Cinebench, and 3DMark are run. The system operates at 100% CPU and GPU load for several hours in a thermal chamber. Temperatures and clock stability are checked.

Visual inspection. The build is checked against the approved sketch. Paint quality, airbrushing, tubing, and cable routing are evaluated.

BIOS and software setup. Drivers are updated and memory profiles are configured. The PC is ready to use right after unboxing.

Step 6. Delivery and support

After testing, the CONCEPT is shipped to its owner.

Packaging. Multiple layers of protection include a form-fitting expanding-foam insert inside the case to secure fragile components, a branded box, and a wooden shipping crate where required.

Delivery. To the address you provide. Personal delivery with on-site demonstration and setup is available.

Warranty and support. Premium warranty coverage of up to three years includes on-site support. Under the Optimal package, faulty components are replaced rather than repaired, with service completed within ten business days.

How long a CONCEPT build takes

CONCEPT custom PC build timeline

Every CONCEPT is a one-of-a-kind project that requires time and specialist craftsmanship.

Design and approval. Developing sketches, 3D visualization, approving the design, and selecting components — 1–4 weeks.

Production and modding. Case preparation, paintwork, airbrushing, and 3D printing — 2–6 weeks.

Production and testing. Installation, custom-loop assembly, pressure testing, tubing routing, setup, and stress tests — 1–3 weeks.

Total timeline. A relatively simple custom project takes 4–8 weeks. A complex branded CONCEPT with original artwork and extensive modding takes 2–4 months.

Recommendation. Start the discussion at least 2–3 months before your target date.

Conclusion

If you want to order a custom PC that is both a high-performance system and a work of art, it all starts with an idea. In the HYPERPC CONCEPT studio, we create genuinely one-of-a-kind computers by hand, complete with custom liquid cooling and details tailored to their owners.
