About the Project
A client approached us looking for more than a powerful computer: they wanted a centerpiece for their office inspired by the DC universe. The PC had to become part of the workspace rather than sit beneath the desk as a separate tower.
Primary use: creating resource-intensive 3D content, rendering and gaming at maximum settings.
Key requirements: a white desktop, full system integration into a HYPERPC DESK, quiet performance under load, and an interior inspired by Christopher Nolan's Batman universe. The client specifically asked us to avoid off-the-shelf solutions and rainbow lighting in favor of a refined industrial aesthetic.
Component Selection and Solution
At the heart of the system is a flagship 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor paired with a 32GB GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. This combination generates a great deal of heat, and fitting it inside the desktop called for a custom cooling solution with two separate loops. The client requested the most powerful motherboard available, so we selected the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO. The desktop also had to be premium, strong and durable, leading us to craft it from high-end stone.
- Clean Look cooling. For an impeccably minimalist interior, the system uses concealed connections between all cooling components.
- Two independent loops. The system features two pumps with reservoirs and two 480mm radiators. Airflow is provided by Lian Li UNI FAN TL and Thermalright TL-B12-EXTREM fans.
- Desktop cut from a solid slab of white quartz. Maximum protection against scratches and other damage.
Gotham Beneath the Glass
We began by filling every open space inside the PC with miniature Gotham neighborhoods, placing buildings throughout, including around the radiators. The entire city was painted in a white-to-black gradient from the edges toward the center, creating a seamless transition from the white desktop to the dark interior. We cut the Batman logo into the central Clean Look panel and styled both the panel and the area around the motherboard after the hood of the Batmobile. We then brought the streets to life with larger-scale versions of iconic locations, painted in the authentic colors seen on screen: Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum, Wayne Tower and the Gotham City Police Department. At the client's request, we added figures of Batman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and the Joker, positioning them beside the reservoirs around the motherboard. As the client is a motorcycle enthusiast, we also created a Batcycle model as a gift and mounted it on the graphics card. In place of a conventional rear exhaust grille, we designed a custom grille spelling out “GOTHAM”.

The Result
A complete workspace with an art piece at its center. The client received a fully configured, ready-to-use system together with peripherals and a METTA Y 4DF chair. Everything was tested and fine-tuned, with no additional setup required.
- Quiet under load. The custom loop with two 480mm radiators keeps fan speeds low even through hours of rendering, allowing the system to remain quiet where other cooling solutions would be pushed to their limits.
- A design to enjoy every day. The Gotham diorama is fully visible beneath the glass desktop rather than hidden behind an opaque side panel.
- Exclusive warranty. The package covers the project for three years and includes unlimited remote support and scheduled maintenance. For a liquid-cooling loop, this is an essential part of ownership, not merely a line in a contract.
